Admission Requirements

Application and Admission Requirements:

At least 17 years of age.
Complete an application.
Provide an official high school transcript or HSE/GED transcript. If you need assistance with this please see our FORMS page.
If you possess a foreign high school or college diploma you must have your credentials evaluated to confirm equivalent educational achievements. Please call our office for more information if needed.
Once the applicant has submitted an application they may call to schedule their TEAS-VI entrance exam. Please see the link on the left titled TEAS-VI Resources to learn more and to obtain practice exam material.
Physical exam and immunization records are required. Please see our FORMS page.
Three references, one should be from current employer, then previous employers and or instructors/guidance counselors. (No friends or family.) Please see our FORMS page.
Original Birth certificate to be copied.
Drivers license or legal picture identification to be copied.

Advanced Placement:

Potential students with prior health care education (college credit or certificate program credit) may be eligible for advanced placement into the second term (January) of the program on a space available basis. Please refer to the program brochure for more information or you may call 607-431-2562 to discuss the specifics of entering the program.
