Administrative Staff Training: Deadline extended to Monday August 10th!
The summer Administrative Staff Workshop will be a virtual event that will take place on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 9:30 am - 1:15 pm. Catskill Area School Study Council in Partnership with Panhandle Area Educational Consortium Virtual Workshop for Education Office Professionals
“Challenge Brings Opportunities”.
The program will feature three wokshops.
Session A: Civility 101 led by Gina Fallica, Executive Assistant to the Superintendent, St. John's County School District
Session B: Effective Collaboration in the Microsoft 365 Environment led by Joel Olefson, Staff Development Associates
Session C: Health and wellbeing/yoga led by Valerie Bolger, Master of Education in Health Education.
Administrative Staff Webinar Series
The topics for our 2020-2021 webinar, “Lunch and Learn” series have been selected. The series if focused on enhancing Microsoft Productivity. The webinar series is in addition to the CASSC 621 Co-Ser! Districts will have the opportunity to support best practices and provide ongoing professional development to their Educational Office Professionals through this informative Webinar series. Staff are encouraged to participate in groups in a conference setting. The program can be customized to the unique needs of each district. Schools may choose to attend webinars “live”, or select a time that works best for each team’s needs. The live webinars will run from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Topics and Dates are as the following 6 topics.
October 27, 2020 - File Management and collaboration using OneDrive and OneNote
November 17, 2020 - Effectively using Outlook
January 19, 2021 - Word Tips and Tricks
February 23, 2021 - Excel Tips and Tricks
April 13, 2021 - Creativing effective Presentations uisng Powerpoint
May 18, 2021 - Creating Fliers and Newsletters using Publisher
In order to add this program, CASSC member districts who belong to ONC may submit a Request for Additional Services form to BOCES. CASSC member districts from DCMO may submit a Cross-Contract.
