Legislation and/or Regulation:
SED Capital Facilities Regulations require each school district to have a District-Wide Health and Safety Committee to respond to health, safety and environmental issues in the district. The District-Wide Health and Safety Committee also has an expanded role during building construction and renovation.

- Environmental, Health and Safety Investigations and Remediation.
- Setting up and running District-Wide Health and Safety Committees and Meetings.
