CASSC is excited to continue to offer leadership training for non-instructional leaders in our schools. Directors of Transportation, Food Service managers, facilities, technology, office managers, accounting supervisors, head custodians, HR professionals and anyone else who supervises on-teaching staff in a school will benefit from these on-line learning workshops. The three-session series, led by Jeff Olefson of Staff Development Associates, will explore a variety of strategies for being an effective school leader. The program will end with an in-person workshop at SUNY Oneonta on our shared ONC/DCMO conference day on 3/15/24.
Dates and Topics are:
- Session 1 - 11/14 How to get a staff to embrace the mission.
- Session 2 - 12/12 - Active Listening and Communication Sexual Harassment and Gender Discrimination
- Session 3 - 2/13/24 - Dealing with Challenging staff members.
In order to add this program, CASSC member districts who belong to ONC may submit a Request for Additional Services form to BOCES. CASSC member districts from DCMO may submit a Cross-Contract.
