School Boards Institute
CASSC offers a variety of workshops and programs to support the training and professional development of School Board of Education members and School Leaders. The programs take place on the SUNY Oneonta campus.
The Catskill Area School Study Council is offering three course selections in the November School Boards Institute virtually on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. The following courses will be offered:
Session 1: Option A: Examining the Challenges and Opportunities in our Learning Environment (Stacy Ward, ONC BOCES Director of Instructional Support Services and Jan Laytham, DCMO BOCES Director of Instructional Support Services); Option B: Remote Learning Options Explored (Tami Fancher, Program Coordinator for Distance Learning at ONC BOCES)
Session 2: Looking Ahead: Navigating the Financial Landscape (Andrew Van Alstyne, PhD, ASBO Director of Education and Research and Thomas Murphy, Executive Director of the CBO, ONC BOCES).
Particpants will be asked to choose either Option A or B for Session 1 and all participants will take Session 2.
