Students at the Otsego Area Occupational Center (OAOC) can become certified in different areas depending on the Career and Technicial Educational (CTE) program in which they are enrolled. 

Below is a list of certifications that are available:

Cosmetology Program

Students in the Cosmetology Program may take the practical state board exam after the completion of the course for the following certifications:

• Nail tech (450 Hours)

• Cosmetology (1000 Hours)

• Esthetics (600 Hours)

• Barbering (500 Hours)

• Waxing (75 Hours)

Culinary Arts Program

Students in the Culinary Arts Program can get the following certifications.

• National Restaurant Association ServSafe Sanitation

• CPR & First Aid

Health Occupations Program

Students in the Health Occupations Program can get the following certifications.

•  Home Health Aide

•  Certified Nursing Assistant

•  CPR/AED/First Aid

•  Bloodborne Pathogens

•  HIPPA

•  Workplace Violence

•  OSHA
