District-Wide Health and Safety Committees

Sections 101, 207, 409-d, 409-e, 3602 and 3641 of the Education Law and Chapters 56 and 58 of the Laws of 1998
SED Capital Facilities Regulations require each school district to have a District-Wide Health and Safety Committee to respond to health, safety and environmental issues in the district. The District-Wide Health and Safety Committee also has an expanded role during building construction and renovation.
