We are proud to congratulate Ms. April Erkson for starting a new position here at ONC BOCES as our Student Programs Supervisor! Ms Erkson has been a Math Teacher at OAOC since 2015 and has been teaching Math for 20 years to middle and high school students. She has also been the National Technical Honor Society Advisor for OAOC for the last five years.
Ms. Erkson recently completed her CAS and now holds Administrative Certifications as a School Building Leader and a School District Leader. She has two children who attend Cherry-Valley Springfield Central School.
In her new role as Student Programs Supervisor, Ms. Erkson will join the Innovative Programs team at NCOC and Center Street in Oneonta. There, she will be assisting NCOC's Building Principal, Ms. Trask, and guiding the 3-8 state assessments team. Ms. Erkson states that she is "excited to help the incredible staff at NCOC and Center Street. They are a highly skilled group that do amazing work and I strive to help them and their students live up to their full potential." She is hoping to provide our component schools with the services they need for the students that attend our programs and to ensure every student is successful.
