NCOC's Leadership Club organized a Reverse Advent food drive that collected non-perishable items to donate to families. Along with the donated food items, the Leadership Club purchased turkeys to complete the Thanksgiving meal! Students, faculty and staff at NCOC donated enough items to send 14 families bags of food and turkeys!
There was also a contest organized between all of the classrooms to see which room could collect the most food items. Career Pathways was the winner and the recipient of a pizza party! Congratulations!
Because of the amount of donations that were received, bags have already been started for December. New donation lists are being distributed to classrooms and offices throughout the building. We hope to be able to provide families with more food baskets for the upcoming holidays!
