The Mechatronics Program had the pleasure of presenting its Capstone Project to the ONC BOCES Administration. The project is a Power Plant Simulator that will enhance the skills and knowledge needed to run multiple systems simultaneously in an efficient and organized manner. The project includes a hydronic system with zones, a ventilation system with zones, multiple motors, a motor pulley combination, load applications for testing motor amperage, motor controls, contactors, and various low-voltage signals to control high-voltage contactors.
The Class of 2025 joins the line of past classes that have created simulators for future classes. These projects allow the students to be vested in the program's growth and educational expansion!
