ONC BOCES is pleased to offer DASA trainings. The DASA course we are offering presently is a six hour face-to-face class instructed by Maizy Jaklitsch, our NYSED DASA Certified Instructor. Additional sessions may be added as needed. All courses are offered from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, and lunch is provided.TIME:
Registration will be from 8:00-8:15 with a prompt start time of 8:15. There is no late admittance.FEE:

Upon completion of the 6 hour class, you will receive your Certificate of Completion
. We will upload the participants to the TEACH system, as per the NYSED requirements. In order for it to upload correctly you do need to have a TEACH account.Questions about certification requirements and DASA?
If you have questions about whether or not you need to take the DASA Training for your certification, you can contact the Regional Certification at ONC BOCES or the NYSED Office of Teaching . The Regional Certification Office serves as an extension of the Teacher Certification Division of the New York State Education Department. The office provides evaluative and consultant services to component school districts and the ONC BOCES on New York State teacher and coaching certification requirements.
