NCOC and OAOC held their Scholar Recognition dinners last week. Krystal Poole, a Cosmetology student at NCOC, and Will Moody, a Mechatronics student at OAOC, were the recipients of the award for 2021!
These students were chosen on the basis of scholarship, as well as leadership and service to their school and/or community. Grades, Regents scores and other formal measurements are also taken into consideration when choosing the recipients.
Ms. Darfler-Sweeney, NCOC Cosmetology Teacher, and Mr. DeMars, Interim Director of CTE, Alternative Education and Adult Education, presented Krystal with her award.
Mr. Anderson, OAOC Mechatronics Teacher, and Dr. Huber, District Superintendent, presented Will with his award.
Led by their teacher, Ms. Albano, OAOC's Junior Culinary Arts students prepared a beautiful four-course meal for the OAOC dinner attendees!
Congratulations to Krystal and Will for their outstanding achievements!
